Look Local First Friday

We are pleased to announce that starting in 2024, we will be hosting Look Local First Friday, a monthly, small business networking event for small business owners in Central Iowa! 

So what is Look Local First Friday? 

Look Local First Friday is a monthly, no-cost networking happy hour celebrating the small business community in the Central Iowa area! The goal is to provide an opportunity for small business owners to connect while enjoying cocktails and appetizers in a relaxed and informal setting.

Here, you'll have the chance to gain valuable insights, get to know other small business owners from different backgrounds and industries and unwind. Each month, an expert or small business owner will share a brief presentation with information that can be applied to your business and everyday life. 

Small business owners can also inquire about speaking opportunities, spotlighting their business during an event, hosting pop-ups, and other creative collaboration opportunities throughout the year. If you are interested, please fill out the form below. 

Our first event will take place on January 5th and will center around wellness. You can register to attend here! We look forward to opening our doors to the entrepreneurs in our community and becoming a resource to them!

At Look Local First, we understand that our audience spans nationwide & we want small businesses everywhere to feel included! We will film each keynote speaker and provide a detailed blog post with the information shared during Look Local First Friday the following week.

We also want to invite small business owners to join us to host webinars or write guest blogs. We are also looking into webinar opportunities for our small business friends who reside outside Iowa and the DSM Metro, so stay tuned!
